Dear all!

 

We are starting a new club, called "TED talk-it-out", where we'll watch TED and TEDx videos and have a discussion about them afterwards.

 

Making this club holds the intention of building a community around life-long learning and discussing real life problems to inspire solutions, and to invite individuals to work towards making a change. The goal is to strengthen the community of Osijek, by bringing forth the creativity and ideas of its members. It is also aiming to level the culture of debate among the people, as prevalent and serious issues are often left unspoken of, due to the lack of conversational skills of the participants.

 

With hopes that a group of people, thinking about and working for their community will rise, this club will open its doors in February.

The language of this club will be English, however any video that has subtitle or translation, may be played with said subtitle/translation. The main topics covered will be falling into the category of social issues. To participate in these meetings, you don't have to bring anything, only yourself and an open mind (and maybe a friend, if you'd like)!
